The End of the Line

I, the sheriff, have done an amazing feat that included a lot of feet. It is not an evil plan, nor will it kill anyone. What we have done, is we confined the murderers. We usually take a big stick, and let the murderers be free for a good shake-down. We freshen the prisoners water and collect their gifts. Then we take our sticks again, and march them in. We are planning a delicious Christmas dinner that the prisoners will be VERY handy in, if you know what I mean. Yes, we will have a delicious duck dinner. We have our hearts set on buying a few Pekin ducks. Big Mama will let me chase the prisoners all around the barnyard. I love it because they deserve it. (Really, they do deserve it.) And their stupid little noises. I mostly try to chase Jemima. But that "I think I'm all that" Drake keeps her under his wing. I really can't wait until Christmas dinner.

Indians in Town

Citizens of Chicken Town, do not fear, there are Indians on our land. Have we not, brethren, made peace with our black feathered friends? Yet they do not charge with their tomahawks. Fear not the new blood that will soon shed over our land. Kill not our new brothers and sisters, for they have not come to harm any. What they eat, you shall eat, what we eat, they shall eat. Friends, have we not shared this beautiful land before? Roots of history shall grow deep beneath our feet. Treat our new folk with kindness, and bless them with gifts. For are we not ALL Gods so loved treasures? They pass, with a fowl odor, yet we trust them, do you not?

Betty and Friends

A travelling sales rooster has come to town. Betty anxiously fixes Tilly's hair and sweeps like a broom in her long dress to the supermarket. The sales rooster has a television station. Betty walks up. She says, "I have a sister named Betty Boop. I have lots of friends and I was wondering if you would let us join a TV show on channel five?" "Oh I would be delighted! We could call it, Betty and Friends." Buttercup gets her best curlers in her beautifully designed hair. Haiti doesn't waste one second. She goes around taking care of her children, getting ready to go to the sales rooster. And, Oh! I have not seen such a beautiful stream of ladies since the beauty contest!

Election Day

My dear citizens, friends, family, neighbors, and beloved fans, this is the first election day of the year! Hope you all have your tickets, because Chicken Town has never had such a celebration! We are going to meet at the cafe. There will be a big box to put your solution in. I think we should have a picnic lunch at the park! We will have our winners step up on the picnic table. We will have a banner made for the winner of each one who will need to be elected. We will be electing a new queen, sheriff, banker, mayor, and judge. It will be so exciting! Ohhhh! I wonder who the new deputies will be!
