November/December

Goings On Hello, Chicken Town enthusiasts! Or are you just reading this because you are bored at the moment? Anyhow, welcome! So, I  have taken a leave of absence (sorry!), but I am back and ready to write! Not much has changed since my last update. Well, actually a little bit has changed. But, since there are a few, I will introduce them from the least exciting to the most exciting.  1. Everybody is a year older. Make sure you wish a happy birthday to everyone.  2. There were no new chicks this year. 3.  The garden was not used this year. The gardener was grievously ill, but she is back up and will be back to her old self by gardening time this year.  4. Very sadly, Betty has passed away. She was murdered by an evil hawk. Everybody in town has missed her dearly. May I fetch you a handkerchief? 5. There is a new citizen in town! She is a new species, breed, and color. She is Maddy, a................................................................... ....

Chicken Town Weekly

Ongoing Trial Continues This trial began as a simple little quip. Now it's turned into the biggest case since that Affee girl tried to glue herself to the supermarket window. Judge Tilly argues greatly against letting the suspect go. And, if you don't know the whole story, let us tell you. Little Tommie Herbert was a paperboy. He delivered Chicken Town Weekly to every door in town. He is an orphan cockerel who, luckily, skipped over boot camp and went into town. He quickly got a job in the supermarket, where he was a cashier. But he was spotted flirting with a customer. So they fired him. What catches our suspicion, is that he got a job at the Chicken Town Hotel, the building that he robbed recently. He was a housekeeper, an innocent job. But he was caught getting too close to a customer's egg, which got him fired again. So, we hired Herbert, an unlucky cock that just needed someone to believe in him. But late one night, when we dropped off the papers he was to deliver...

Happy New Year!

Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! Chicken Town has been clucking with excitement. The local football team, the Cluckin' Cluckers, have been practicing for the game today. The Weezin' Weasels are playing against them this year, and they are pretty nervous. And for the first time in history, a girl is playing in the New Year Football Start-Off! She has been practicing to get into the Cluckers for years now, and this is her lucky year! If you are willing to know what happens at the game, Emma's Scoops will have the whole ice cream scoop! Spoil alert though, there won't be any ice cream.   This year is going to be Sally Henny Penny's happiest year ever. After eight years of college, her adopted daughter, Luna, is coming home! Bruce has overflown with joy, because Luna was always the one who would hang out with him.   There are so many expectations and excitements about 2016. Many things are going to be happening, including the opening of Chicken Town's college...

The Fair Yesterday, all of the chickens in chicken town went to Chicken County fair. There they saw cows, goats, sheep, and bunnies! They didn't have any birds because of the flu that's been going around the poultry pokes. After the animal arena, there were rides. Emma went on the carousel (she rode a chicken) and this was the first year that she could get on and off herself! Some of the chickens went on a huge guitar that went up and down (and some of them got sick). A few of them rode strawberries that twirled around and spun. Tilly said to Adriana, "I will not go on a ride, Ana." Adriana shook her head. Some of them went on gliders. And quite a bit of them rode on a roller coaster (which had a toy alien in the front). A lot of the kids rode on the carousel with Emma. Then they had ice cream. The building was exactly like an ice cream cone. While they ate their ice cream, Emma and her mother had their pictures drawn like cartoon characters. Then there were ga...

Getting Some New Friends Polly, the Napkin Basket Guard has been lonely for the past few days. All she does every day is eat, drink, use the restroom, watch, and sleep. So I, the Queen of Chicken Town has decided that Polly shall have some new friends. A friend here, a friend there, a friend right next to her, and she won't be sad anymore. Two parrots are already planned. There will be Coconut and Tangerine. Polly is almost ready to retire, for she has been working much too hard. I do not believe that we need a Napkin Basket Guard, but I could be wrong. Polly likes her job, and she never wants to leave her post. So, after my royal paper work, I will begin making some new parrot friends.
