The Fair

Yesterday, all of the chickens in chicken town went to Chicken County fair. There they saw cows, goats, sheep, and bunnies! They didn't have any birds because of the flu that's been going around the poultry pokes. After the animal arena, there were rides. Emma went on the carousel (she rode a chicken) and this was the first year that she could get on and off herself! Some of the chickens went on a huge guitar that went up and down (and some of them got sick). A few of them rode strawberries that twirled around and spun. Tilly said to Adriana, "I will not go on a ride, Ana." Adriana shook her head. Some of them went on gliders. And quite a bit of them rode on a roller coaster (which had a toy alien in the front). A lot of the kids rode on the carousel with Emma. Then they had ice cream. The building was exactly like an ice cream cone. While they ate their ice cream, Emma and her mother had their pictures drawn like cartoon characters. Then there were games. Emma threw balls into bowls. Her father played with her and he lost. She got a stuffed cob of corn. The other chickens played different games. One played the same game and won a stuffed banana. Then they all got food. Some chickens got corn dogs. A few of them got snow cones. Quite a bit of them got sugar waffles. And EVERYBODY got cotton candy. They got some other food too. They all said good-bye to the fair, and at home, they looked at the little pictures, otherwise known as memories.
