Granny's Story Time

Frosty the Snowman

Peeps come from the nursery everyday. But today, the chicks just sit around and listen to stories and work on their lessons. "Granny, I found an old hat in the street today, and I want to use it to build a snowman!" said Rosie. "Not  today, my dear. It is much to cold. But I know a story about a snowman! " said Granny. "Tell us!" the chicks peeped. "Okay. Let me see here. Aha! Here it is! It's called, 'Frosty the Snowman.' One day, in Magic Village, some young raccoons wanted something to eat. They found a carrot each. The young raccoons decided to make snowmen. One snowman they put a good spell on. The spell was for him to come to life! He came to life, just as they wished! When the snow started to melt, he ran around, making it snow again. The raccoons called him, 'Frosty.' He liked that name very much. Then some mean weasels started throwing things at him. The raccoons threw snowballs at them, and the ran away. They built Frosty up again, and he ran into the woods. Some young children like to go and look in the woods on their way to school, but they step in a puddle, a puddle named Frosty. And they say he is still in the woods. The End." "Ya!" said the chicks. "When it gets warm can we go look for Frosty?" said Rosie. "Maybe, dear." said Granny.
