Welcome, Baby Jesus!


"Granny," said Carrie. "what is Christmas about?" "That is an interesting story, little one. Gather around as I tell you a Christmas story." replied Granny. She read,"One special day, an angel came down from Heaven. A woman named Mary was organizing some pots. The angel said to Mary, 'Do not fear me Mary, for I have great news. The Lord's son must come down to earth, and you, my special woman, will be the one to deliver this gift, and you shall name him Jesus!' Mary married a man named Joseph, who was to be Jesus' father. They went to an inn, but there was no room in the inn. They decided to sleep in a barn. On December 24th, the little baby was born. Shepherds followed a star to him, and wise men gave him gifts of gold. The cows mooed with delight, and doves cooed with praise. The whole world was a ball full of happiness, that day that Christ was born. The End!" Granny explained what a hard life Jesus had because of sin, but he never sinned. Chuck happened to be sitting in the center of the nursery with all of the children. "Maybe you can make a play about Jesus' birthday this year!" said Granny. All the children were talking about how great it would be to put on a play, and in the middle of it, Chuck interrupted, "Will you help us?"

Frosty the Snowman Peeps come from the nursery everyday. But today, the chicks just sit around and listen to stories and work on their lessons. "Granny, I found an old hat in the street today, and I want to use it to build a snowman!" said Rosie. "Not  today, my dear. It is much to cold. But I know a story about a snowman! " said Granny. Get to meet the Citizens Here in Chicken Town we have allot of important people. Drake, Jemima and Rebbecca are the actors of the Old Grimy Water Circus. Just in case you didn't know, they are ducks. Not chickens. Betty runs the salon that is in front the tractor door in Chicken Town. First you will see the Chicken Hotel that is a big white building that the citizens sleep in at night. It is perfectly safe when Fifi and Speckles are here to the rescue. Their former names are Pussnboots and Blackshadow. If you didn't know, the circus is south of the hotel. Then slimy and dirty is the Chicken Cafe. This is where they chill and wait for the Charity Food people to come by. Then if you go west and turn to the north, you are very likely to find the Chicken Supermarket. Then go south and you will find the Morning to My Babe Restaurant that is very much like Apple Bee's. Never to be Found Our friend, Rebecca Puddle Duck has not returned yet. Not a sign, a sound, nor a little path. We are all trying to accept the truth. She is gone. She must be dead, but still she has no grave. Drake is deeply worried about her. "I remember she would always interrupt family discussions with her somewhat adorable little squeak." The little chicks attend to their letters and sounds. Greta, a dear friend of Rebecca's wrote on her  paper, " c a t d o g d u c k" Her book wanted her to write "Robby, Mike, & Me." Instead, she wrote, " R e b e c c a P u d d l e  D u c k"  The teacher glanced over her shoulder. Greta started erasing it right away. Everybody in town is very very very very very sad.
