Cold to Colder 2/3/15
It is 9:31 in the morning, the third of February, 2015, and the temperature is 23°. The citizens of Chicken Town need a little warmth. This morning, when I got up, little drops of golden sun fell through the windows. The wives in Chicken Town were making coffee for their husbands, and the children were just waking up. Nobody hurries, nobody shouts, and nobody lays on the couch. The Puddle Ducks do all of those things. They hurry, they shout, they sit on the couch. "Drake, get out of your den and eat your breakfast! The food is almost frozen!" shouts Jemima. "I'm not hungry." Drake whined. "Drake, come out and eat! Am I clear?!" "Clear as Scotch tape." murmured Drake. Drake came out of his den and shivered. "Dear, turn on the heat now!" Drake ordered Rebbecca. "I-I-I'm t-t-t-too c-c-c-cold." she said softly. The kids had to take the bus to school today, and yesterday. It is cold.
A Soapy Mess ?
Today at school, Mrs. Eggman took the sheets off of the beds in the school dressing rooms. Emma surprised her by coming in to see her. "Well, let's have a look at that detergent we made!" said Mrs. Eggman. She went into the laundry room and opened the lid on the detergent. When she opened it, the class stared with wide eyes. When she opened it, a big jell filled the bucket. The class thought that it was just a film, but really, it went all the way to the bottom. Mrs. Eggman called Emma up to ladle the soap into the container she had. It didn't scoop. A few minutes after trying to scoop it out, Emma stuck her hands in it. A minute later, half of the class was doing it. They tore it apart completely. If I could, I would have taken pictures. I would have posted pictures on here, but I could certainly try to draw what happened. Anyway, whatever they did, they had fun. Really, I had that experience. I usually use Emma as my cover so I fit into the story better. There wasn't a lot of kids there. Just me and my mom. I did stick my hands into it and tear is apart. I washed my hands afterwards (even though they didn't need it!)
Happy Memories 2/9/15
Today the teenagers in Chicken Town get the day off. Some kid blew up the rooms as a prank and the workmen need to get it back together. Tina Dill's mother has to go babysit, and Tina must stay home. "Now Tina, once you've washed the dishes and taken out the trash, clean the attic for me, please. Love you!" she said to her daughter. She stepped out the door, and walked daintily towards the bus. Tina hopped into the kitchen, and began washing the dishes. There weren't very many, so she got done quickly. Then she dragged the trash bin towards the road. She washed her hands very very well, and threw herself on the sofa. She grabbed the remote, which was laying on the arm. She began to watch a movie called, 'The Haunted Attic'. Then she remembered. She has to clean the attic out! After an hour of cleaning the attic out, she found a book with fancy letters on it. They were too small to read, but on the other side, it said, "Good Memories". She opened it, and a little boys face smiled at her. Underneath the picture were the words, "Dedicated to Henry Dill II". Tina turned the page, and a picture of the same little boy looked at her with a grumpy face. The picture beside it had eight little boys and girls. They were all smiling happily. The one below it had a man and woman holding roses. Pretty vine stickers circled around them. Then a picture of two boys hauling logs caught her eye. On the last page, an old man holding a little baby girl, an old woman by the mans shoulder, and a couple at the other shoulder looking at their baby girl. Then she realized, that little baby was herself.
Freida, the Norwegian Chicken 2/11/15
Across the Atlantic Ocean, Norway can be found. Sally Henny Penny's niece, Freida, lives there. Freida's mother has died, and her father is working all 24-7, so she's going to stay with Sally. She arrived before her surgery, and Sally sat by and comforted her in the last moments of it. Now she's in Chicken Town, and everybody will celebrate her coming here. I will try to get a picture of her onto this post, but it might take some time. Just for fun, I'll tell you what she looks like. Well, where should I start first, oh! perfect spot, the pose. Normally she closes her eyes and turns her head to her tail, as in a sleeping mode. She has a cute little blue comb, not dark blue, not sky blue, but kind of in between. In that same blue, a nice pattern covers her. Every other space on the actual body has an orange dot. On the tail and neck, an orange dot is in each space. The head doesn't have any pattern, just white. Behind the pattern, a white shows through the spaces. Other news about her is that she's working as a doorstop security guard, but barely anybody goes in there. She eggsits allot, so it's the perfect job for her. I will say more about her later.
Fishy News 2/16/15
Nemo, a young clownfish, got lost in the Toy Ocean. Marlin, his dad, and a blue tang fish named Dory (suffering from short term memory loss) came to me asking if i would help them find him. We searched three oceans, and we couldn't find him. Then, we searched the Toy Ocean thoroughly, and we found him! Just to say, I heard that a new movie, Finding Dory, will be coming out, maybe in November next year. It will be the second movie to Finding Nemo. When Dory heard the news, she was puzzled. She couldn't remember what a movie is. So after having a tea party with Sally Henny Penny and her friends, (including Nemo,) we all watched Finding Nemo. I had begun watching it the day before, so we only watched part of it. Everybody gave a short hand-clap to Nemo and Dory. Dory began to blush and turn her head shyly. Marlin told jokes to us, and we all laughed at them. We're all excited about Finding Dory coming out.
It may sound like a pretty unrealistic story, but I really did search for Nemo with Marlin and Dory. There really is going to be a Finding Dory probably next June, so this all really happened. I'll make a really big deal about Finding Dory when it comes out, so be prepared!
Freeze Tag 2/19/15
Clusters of snow blew off the roofs. Children ran across the road. Some of them fell down into the white puffy snow. Carmen hid in a tree because her snow boot fell off. Janitor Jan came and put it back on her little toes. She wiped her beak in the snow when she got down, and she went running as if for her life. "It's like winter was playing freeze tag with the ground. And when I say 'freeze' I mean FREEZE!" said Anne. Flora saw a girl without snowshoes, and her feet didn't have anything covering them. "Here," she said. "take my extra pair of snow boots. They will keep your feet very warm." The girl brushed some snow off of a log and sat down. She pulled the cozy boots up, and pulled her knee-high socks up. Now the lower part of her leg was all covered. She said "Thank you," and went on her way. Mary stepped daintily across the road, with her little lunch basket leaning on her stomach. Bobby took little bites of sunflower seeds into his mouth. Nobody felt warm.
Avalanche! 2/20/15
Today, Emma went to help her mother take care of everybody in town. like deliver groceries, pick other things up for them, and things like that. Emma looked at the school playground. She climbed up the old ladder and looked beneath her. She put her little warm legs on the white puffy snow. She pushed herself, and slid down. Right when her mother came out of the hotel, she shouted, "AVALANCHE!" and slid down. When she got to the bottom of the slide, she hopped up on both feet and walked towards her mother. Then she and her mother went over to the Puddle Ducks, who were living in the supermarket, because there was no snow in there. Rebbecca shivered and squeaked, "Why oh why is winter so cold? Even in the supermarket I am way too cold!" "Well, at least I can slide down avalanches on the school playground!" Emma said. It was a nice morning.
